GMS Groundwater Modeling System

GMS - Groundwater Modeling System. The DOD GMS - Groundwater Modeling System is the most sophisticated and comprehensive groundwater modeling environment available today. The GMS - Groundwater Modeling System is used at hundreds of U.S. Government sites and at a large and rapidly growing number of private and international sites. GMS is a comprehensive package which provides tools for every phase of a groundwater simulation including site characterization, model development, postprocessing, calibration, and visualization. GMS - Groundwater Modeling System is the only system that supports TINs, solids, borehole data, 2D and 3D geostatistics, and both finite-element and finite-difference models in 2D and 3D. Currently supported models in GMS include MODFLOW, MODPATH, MT3D, FEMWATER, RT3D and SEEP2D. Due to the modular nature of GMS, a custom version with desired modules and model interfaces can be configured. As needs change or as new models become available, other modules can be added to the GMS - Groundwater Modeling System. SSG's support for GMS is provided direct from the developers, BYU. We believe this is the best support for the GMS available today.
